Great friends are hard to find.

Where do I even begin with this post? I wanna give a HUGE shoutout to all my wonderful friends who were literally the LIFE of the party this past weekend. I am sorry, but I don't think I even danced as much with my own parents as I did with all of you. It was just CRAZY!

I am gonna start off with each person and describe the role they played in this event. Every single person was so important for me. I wanna thank all of you guys a billion times. I was so overwhelmed with the turnout. I am gonna be using short forms of all my friend's names for privacy concerns, but y'all know who you wonderful people are <3 p="">
First and foremost, I am gonna thank all the performers/dancers of the night. Beenzie & Annie for their awesome dance performance. That huge laddoo was just perfect for the song 'Mere Jija Ji.' Then, my amaze-balls dancers Kanchi & Dp who had 3 different performances lined up as well as a speech! I would like to thank my brothers friends who came over for practices multiple nights before the day - Ramen & Laksh. A huge shoutout to the N2 twins for a surprise performance. You guys are fantastic dancers!
And, I would also like to thank my adorable brother for SINGING for me, as well as dancing last minute. The poor guy had exams till the last minute, and he stayed up 3 consecutive nights to practice his dance. One of the dances were choreographed the NIGHT BEFORE.

Now, a special shoutout to Kanchi & Dp for coming over the night before and taking care of the performances, making fruit baskets, helping me wrap stuff, running errands with my parents, assisting me and my dearest mummy at the salon, coordinating entries at the banquet, assembling table number stands, assembling party favors, helping me grab my sandals, bangles, other jewelry and all that jazz and many UNSEEN things that I have no clue of. I picked these girls up on Thursday night after Kanchi's exam. She landed at my house 40 minutes after her exam and got busy till the night of the party. The teacher in Kanchi was awake at this point and she took control of everything, lol. Thanks Dp for the entertainment at the salon while I got ready. I will never forget the airbrush makeup joke LOL. Seriously, a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I wanna give another shoutout to Kanchi for organizing my stag party for me. She booked the hotel room, got me my first MK wallet as an engagement present, figured out everything and got everyone together. That was one heck of a night. It was a week before the engagement. I wanna thank all of you that came out that night. A special thanks to Beenzie for making it late night despite her guests. All of you have been so great to me.. I am so overwhelmed. I also rekindled with my childhood family friends Ri2 & Roohi and that was great fun. It felt like an amazing celebration and I truly have been very happy and blessed the past couple of weeks. Thank you all very much!

I would like to thank Nishi for coming over the night before and getting the emcee script done. She had work at 7 the next morning but she went home at 2. I gave her such a short notice to emcee and she gladly accepted it. I told her to go home various times but she said, "I am not leaving until I have everything done!" I don't know what I did to deserve all this help, affection and care. But I am sooooo thankful to each and every individual.

Then, there were other friends who have great things happening in their lives right now (I am not allowed to disclose the details). Although, they could not physically be there to help me out, but their emotional support was there all throughout.. This goes for Sweeta, Nav, Komal, Harv Jasleen, Kritika, Jyoti, Priya, Shweta, Palak, Amanat, Manika and many others. These girls texted/called whenever I needed them. I got opinions on my outfit, jewelry, nails and all that jazz. Thank you thank you thank you!

I also wanna thank all those people who didn't LEAVE the dance floor until 3 am. I am not gonna name you guys because you know who you are! They all went home with me when the banquet cleaners came, lol. No one wanted to go home that night. We wish the music went on forever.

Even those who could not come to the party itself - I received all of your messages! Thank you so much for your kind wishes and compliments for Nish and I. I love you guys anyway.

I also wanna thank my wonderful man who worked his ass off and came to so many meetings with me to meet makeup artists, decor teams, DJ & Dholi, banquets, caterers, photographers and videographers. He is always there for me and I take that for granted sometimes. So, a special thank you for you honey! I love you.

And I also wanna thank everyone on Facebook who commented, liked and sent me tonnes of inbox messages. I know I have been lame with replying but I will get back to everyone now. Thank you so much.

I know this is a repetitive post because I said 'thank you' a billion times but it is needed. All my friends and loved ones need to know how much I appreciate the help they have offered me. The fact that my some of my friends took half-days off their work to be there with me. They took time out of their busy schedules to practice their performances. They came the night before to get everything straight. The ones who said, "You are not doing anything. You just sit there and look pretty!" They took control of everything and actually helped me relax.

I know I am usually not about gratitude and appreciation as much because I always personally thank people instead of announcing it on here. But today, I want my friends to know how grateful I am to have them in my life and how much they mean to me.

Thank you for being there for me through the hurdles, and for being genuinely happy for my good fortune, as if it were your own. My relatives said my friends were the life of the party. It's so good to hear that. All the cheers and everything - most of us lost our voice the next day. Thank you for making time for me even on your busiest days. Kanchi travelled thrice in-between her schedules to help me out with the prep. DP & Kanchi also came by to organize guest lists, setting the agenda, and taking notes on the crazy PowerPoints I made for the engagement, lol. Beenzie & Annie, thank you for not letting time or distance affect our friendship. Dp, thank you for bringing in 'lachak' to your dancing - we were blown off when we saw your final dance performance, lol. Thank you for the hugs, smiles, inside jokes and memories.

Thanks for understanding that I could never really write a long enough blog post to express how much you all mean to me. Love you all xoxo
