Double-nerding wasn't useless, after all.

Hi there.

I've been meaning to blog for a while now but I've been crazy busy. Remember, how I double-nerded two years of school? How I went to Humber College for a Legal Assistant Certificate as well as being at UTM? Remember, how I've rambled on and on about being jobless and not finding myself worthy enough to secure a good employment offer? Looks like I've proved myself wrong or God is just being kind to me. I've finally got a job, as a Legal Assistant. I am really happy for myself. I honestly thought I'd be working at Taco Bell looking at the job situation. Thankfully, I don't have to serve Burritos, lol.

And hey, I won't be broke anymore. It really is a solution to many problems. That's the kind of stress I had in life earlier. By taking on work stress and eliminating the stress that came from worrying about getting a job, I am definitely more happy. Thank you for those who congratulated me! I love my baby for being so confident in me despite my terrible self-esteem.

Now, that's out of the way. I don't know if I talked about this earlier, but he's got himself a place of his own. And I am gonna be doing some research tonight for home decor. We've ordered a sectional couch, we've selected the dining table, we've looked at beds and we've got wallpapers and paints to look at. We went to IKEA yesterday for a trip that was useless because I didn't know that they didn't sell wallpapers. I went without research, and that's what happens. It wasn't completely useless though. We got some great ideas about decoration and how to use space wisely in a given area. They also have some great paintings and vases. I can't wait for the sectional couch to arrive so I can start matching other items in the living room according to it. After all, I consider it MY first home too :)

I am still in shock for Jyoti's wedding, which really was a surprise to me. A friend and a loyal blog reader, whose love story is probably more inspiring than mine. I don't think it's fair to disclose it here without asking her though. May be, another time? But Kanchi and I attended her bridal shower over the weekend and I was literally day dreaming about mine half the time. I am so happy for you, and I wanna congratulate you once again (if you're reading). And it's Kanchi's birthday - so wishing you a very happy 22nd birthday. I've pretty much known you all the years you've lived so far lol.

Lastly, my birthday is coming up. I've been MIA for so long and haven't met any of my friends. Everyone knows from the three-day blogs that my birthday was uh-mazing last year. I really have NO idea what to do for this birthday. It actually falls on a Saturday this time. It was always on a weekday from the past many years. So, I am glad that people can at least make it. If someone has any ideas for celebrating birthdays, please comment because I hate doing a generic restaurant things where half the people don't know each other. I wanna do something fun and inclusive where everyone can equally participate.

I've got so many other things to blog about, so I am gonna get on that. No excuses!
