Why men should be turned on more often...

So, this REALLY REALLY REALLY bothers me. I am sure this is not the first time you're going to hear this rant. I don't know about you guys, but I get offended when guys explain a certain body type and express their favourable opinions towards it. It's no rocket science that people watch porn, guys in particular. This is not a post about who watches it and who doesn't. It's not a post about how degrading porn is to women, especially women of colour (i.e. Latino/Hispanic). It's not a post about how porn depicts violence against women. It is not a post about how these "fake" and "scripted" pornographic situations are depicted to be real, when in reality, they are not even close. Yeah, you go to get your car fixed, and you feel like doing your mechanic? Very real. Your boss is alone in the office, you go ahead and break his office desk and no one in the entire office hears ya? Very real. Your teacher kicks out the rest of the students so she can give one of them some personal teaching? Absolutely real.

Give me a fucking break. Even though the above listed points are TRUE, they are not the concern for this post.

My concern is - creating illusions about how a "normal" body is supposed to look like. Some guys REALLY need to read about this. To women, this is probably going to be reaffirmation of our daily life facts. But I don't think people know the reality of women's bodies, and even men's.

Firstly, HAIR is normal. No one with a normal body is that clean. It's called shaving, waxing, or laser hair removal. Hair is not gross. It's not a turn off. It's a part of a normal body. Everyone has it, for the most part. Some have it more than the others. It's absolutely normal to have a heavy hair growth or even a light one. We are all different. We are ought to have different hair type - coarse, thick, thin etc.

For those guys who think women are "gross" because they don't shave their pubes - how about you try sticking a razor down there for yourself and peeing with a razor cut? It's a personal choice. Stop telling women that it's "sexy." I cannot even begin to write about how guys think it's almost a necessity for women to shave their pubes (regardless of their hair growth) so that they can be turned on by it. And for those who don't know, pubic hair actually protects your va-jay-jay. It's open to infections when there's no hair. Forget infections, do you even know how much time, energy, effort and emotional pain goes into this? Try sitting in your washroom with a mirror and working a razor or wax around such a delicate area. It is NOT necessary. Leave it alone. Stop trying to compare everything to porn. No woman is born with a body that's completely free from hair. The porn industry runs upon making things appealing. That does not mean it's real. Can we move on?

Now, let's talk about something that's a huge issue - Breasts. Guys, please pay particular attention. I've honestly had it with the comments for brown girls with saggy breasts etc. First of all, it has nothing to do with being "brown." Anyone can have saggy breasts. No one said your breasts have to be absolutely perky and a pleasure to watch. It makes so many women insecure thinking that their breast does not conform to the "standard" type. The standard type is not what you see in porn. Half of that is silicone and God knows what. Some sexy women that you see online have surgically enhanced their bodies. In fact, it goes for more than breasts - some perfectly round butts too. PLEASE stop comparing those images to what your woman's body is supposed to look like. It's not even close. All of us have different types of breasts. Not all of us have the nipple in the perfectly round centre. The breast size varies by large. Bottom line - they come in all shapes and sizes. So, learn to embrace that instead of comparing it to the visual porn you have playing in your head right now. You'll be surprised to know what a bra can do to modify a set of breasts. So, please. Stop giving us shit about the way our breasts look. It may affect our self-perception somewhere along the way even though there is absolutely no reason for that to happen.

Female sexuality is a beautiful thing. Half the time women are not able to enjoy to their fullest because along with men, we have also come to think about the "standard" type of female beauty. The very essence of sexuality is that it's unique - for every woman, like the G-Spot (in a different place for every woman).
Look, the human body is a natural work of art. Stop trying to change it. Stop comparing "porn" stuff to real women. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that pornography is made by men, to please men. It can arouse women too. But at least we know the reality of our bodies. And that's the point I am trying to make.

And don't get me wrong. It's also true for men. Not every man is that huge. There is an average size. No one is erect within the first 30 seconds. And no, not everyone is erect working with a Cherry pie with whipped cream. And along with instant erections, no man lasts forever; especially not a 1 hour and 36 minute video. It's shot in sequences, with Viagra and other sex-enhancing medicines.

I also wanna say that anal and oral sex are NOT necessary. NAH-UH. Look to the left at Minaj here, and I'll say it again - NAH-UH GIRL! Somehow, there's an over-hype about how important it is to incorporate different types of sex in your sexual life. No, it's not. Just because you see oral and anal sex along with intercourse over a 15 minute video clip does not mean it's everyone's choice. It definitely does not make it acceptable to everyone by automation. It's a PERSONAL choice. Also, if there's anyone BLINDED by illusion - not all those moans are real. Imagine 4 sets of lighting, 3 camera-men watching you while you have sex. So, no. It's not always a HIGHLY pleasurable experience as they show it is. And not every woman is required to moan to SHOW you that she's enjoying it. Get real.

I have many more things to talk about, but I don't wanna make this an essay. I am gonna stop here, because these were my major concerns. I hope you guys got SOME perspective of what I was trying to explain.

Note: I am not anti-porn. I just have a problem with the kind of perception and messages that come across, especially in relation to women's bodies.
