The joy of shopping

Sure. Every girl loves to shop. May be not, "every" but mostly, anyway. But you know what makes me happy? Everyone can walk into a neatly organized store such as Le Chateau that is on the higher end. But the real challenge is walking into a store with sales such as Sirens, Urban Behavior, Costa Blanca etc. and looking through their most chaotic stalls with clothes all over the place. I feel courageous when I pick out an item that is perfect for me, from a rack that was impossible to look through. That makes me happy.

Also, staying true to the brown stereotype of being cheap, it makes my day when I find out at the counter that an item that I already thought was quite cheap or discounted has an additional discount on the ticketed price. I love cheap clothing, YAY! Even more when it becomes cheaper at the counter.

Do you know when you're going to buy a pair of shoes, and you happen to love these heels.. you want your size and you ask for it. The customer service representative comes up to you and says, we don't have a lot of sizes left, but let me check for you. They come back with your size and say, "This is the last pair!" Ahh.. the joy of getting the last pair of the shoes you really want.

I've always mentioned that I shop alone and I can never really shop with friends, unless they have all the patience in the world.

Also, I hate change rooms that require you to come outside to look in the mirror as opposed to having one inside. I've been shopping lately because I am proud to announce that I've lost a significant amount of weight. And that my older clothes look extremely baggy on me now. I fit into a size 9 for booty shorts, but that was just for that brand, I guess. I am still a size 11, originally. Hopefully, over the months, I can reach my goal. Slow and steady =)

Cheers to shopping therapy!
