Room Ideas?

Colour Scheme: Black, White and Pink
Patterns: Florals, some Polkadots and most importantly Animal Prints!
Textures: Unfortunately, I cannot use wallpapers, or tiles because I do not have a high renovation budget.

But.. I am planning to use alternatives that will fight right to replace textures, such as wall stickers from IKEA. They have some nice room ideas. I watch Property Brothers, Love it or List it etc. on TV and I love watching home transformations. I am not very educated in the area but I have some basic sense of what can match, and what will look ridiculous. And designing my own bedroom the way I want is gonna be something special. I wanted to do it from ages.

Firstly, I am planning to NOT buy a full bed set. I do not want a traditional six piece bed set with the dressing table, lamp tables and closet. I also wanna make the switch from a queen bed to a single bed. Honestly, I sleep on one side of the bed, quietly and do not do Kung-Fu moves in my sleep. I am a peaceful sleeper, and I usually just sleep on one side of bed. The other half of my mattress is usually cluttered with my laptop, nailpolishes, books and other crap that I make a mess with. So, I decided it will be wise to invest in a single bed and mattress. The bed is going to be BLACK.

I already have a study table in my room, that is black with a whiteboard. It goes perfectly with the colour scheme I chose. I also have a black leather chair in the room that so far, fits with the entire scheme. I wanna work on finding a good mirror, which I can use for my makeup. I usually do my makeup in the washroom because of the great lighting. I wanna create that lighting in my room, so I don't have to run back and forth carrying different products. This the mirror I spotted at IKEA and I think it's perfect!

Since I don't have a dresser, I am trying to work with this mirror. By replacing the queen bed with a single, I save 7 ft of space in my room. I already measured it. That means I have enough space to purchase a chest of drawers, and a stool to sit on. The idea is to put all my makeup away neatly and not have anything on the counter tops. It's too messy because it's always on a display. I want everything to be inside the drawers, neatly organized, so I don't have to put anything on top except for my fragrances. The following pictures demonstrate the kind of idea I have in mind for the chest and sofa seat.

Option A - more compact, for less stuff.
Option B - for more stuff. Probably the one I am looking for! The idea is
to level it up with your sitting posture, and to have the mirror up in a place where you can see yourself, while
approaching the drawers AND sitting at a reasonable height.

And here is the seating I am hoping to get..

This is option A. Very simple, yet elegant. Definitely easy to find, I've seen it at Woodbine.
And this is option B. If I want to match some part of the dressing table, it would be THIS!
I can bring two mini hot pink cushions and keep them on this chair. And that would work out the colour scheme!

I definitely don't plan to over-do animal print, I wanna keep it toned down, and use just where it's needed.

However, I am confused whether I should leave the room paint WHITE or paint it PINK. I have a feeling that the white paint, with black furniture and a touch of pink here and there is PERFECT rather than painting the room PINK. It's gonna become too loud that way. Suggestions?

I want the bed sheets and comforter to have large amounts of pink in them since the furniture and background are going to be black and white. I also want NO curtains in my room anymore! I feel that the white blinds will keep it clean.

The alternative: You can play with patterns and colours. It all doesn't have to be one colour. I can either paint the front wall PINK and leave the rest of it white. That way, it will direct attention to my simple single bed. And make that the focal area of the room. This way, it's not that loud anymore.

If I decide to leave it white paint, then I can get pink lamp shades, and a nice bright colourful painting with pink in it to decorate the walls. The point is: I don't want too much of pink going on. But, I wanna incorporate these three colours in coordination, so that they look good.

I am still wondering how it's gonna go. If you have some suggestions, definitely post them below :) I am excited to get this started!
