Intoxicating

You know that feeling, when you've fought with your partner or gone through some distances? Do you know the best part about distances? That it draws you closer. And when you unite after a slight discrepancy or be it a major disagreement, the joy of unification just melts me down. Love is powerful. It is consuming. It is happiness. It is a good feeling. A gooood feeling. Sorry for a brutally cheesy and honest post tonight, but I am SO feelin' it. And I am so gonna type exactly what I am feeling.

Sometimes, love could be extremely intoxicating. Less in a dangerous way, where it could kill you. More in a healthy way, where it has a strange sense of control over you, for which you cannot reason with yourself. I am NOT a mushy, philosophical romantic. I have never been. But, it can't be a sin for me to get a taste of it temporarily. We went out today and spent some quality time, which was long due. The kind of shit that I have going on (as always) and the entire university thing just disappeared. The moment I sit in the car with a grumpy face, a smile can turn it all around. Just that one look can turn a frown into a smile. I LOVE it when guys have the courtesy and patience to wait for their girls while they're shopping. I love it even more when a man has a classy taste and takes the time to provide advice while shopping. And EVEN better when they stick around so you can throw on an outfit in the change room and do a little twirl when you come out, while you wait for some sort of approval or merit.

I love to dine out as well. Oh all the things that I love doing! I've been so great with my diet that I lost 18 lbs, and I felt like I can cheat just a little bit after four weeks of hard work! We went to Denny's for pancakes, and I did not touch the whipped cream I swear :| In fact, I only had a small portion and didn't finish it all, so I am not exactly guilty of it. I just loved the time spent there, while waiting for the food. That sort of affirmation they give you sometimes through their eyes, their gestures or just caressing your hand. I should read this aloud before I publish this, I sound like a goddamn teenager who interacted with the opposite sex for the first time!

Point being, I loved today. The weather. The rain. The time. The lunch. Mall-ing. Walking hand in hand. The couple-sque feel. The pampering. The unexpected kisses. The compliments. The atmosphere. The LOVE.

Point made. Have a great night everyone!
