Hey dolls.
How's it going for everybody? Did every one hear thunder and experience the crazy rain at 2:00 am this morning? I sure did. I couldn't fall asleep till 3 in the morning. And I woke up late today. I am gonna push my workout to the afternoon today. In the evening, Nish and I are going to a bunch of places.
I wanted to give a shout out to my friend Jasleen in this post. The woman has been MIA for the longest time but when I met her last week, I understood why. She has lost about 40 lbs and looks fantastic. She has officially become a gym freak and cannot go a day without exercising. Her body looks toned in all the right places and she looks sexy! It took her a year to lose her "body fat" (let's not say weight), and looks like she has packed on muscle as well. I am really proud of you girlie.. you inspire me. I am so looking forward to seeing you in a net saree in about two months.
As for me.. I am waiting for 2 lbs to get out of the 180s forever. My body looks a little bit toned in comparison to where I started. Much of the jiggle one gets around the belly is a lot more controlled with the abs exercises.I have a feeling I'll be hitting 14 lbs tomorrow, which is pretty good. My goal was to at least lose 20 lbs before August and then continue on slow and steady from there. The reason I am doing it all slow and nice is because I don't want it to feel like a diet. So far.. I've forgotten what roti is. I think I can take it out of my diet for good. Since March until now, I had roti may be 4-5 times.
I've cut out a LOT on Coke Zero. I know I know.. the aspartame in it has horrendous effects on you. There was a time I'd even have 2 Cokes in a day. Currently, it's about one a week. I am gonna get this under control as well. I've grown to like Green Tea. The one I drink is very strong and flavorless. It also decaffeinated. Some people tell me they are addicted to tea, probably because they are drinking caffeinated teas.
Other than that.. I've got no more updates on the health stuff. Oh, and you know how I always said I have no upper body strength? Guess what? It is improving. I can finally do push-ups without the pain and grunting. Sit-ups are still a no-no for me. But I do a lot of abs stuff in the basement. Today, I will be doing one Insanity workout as well as the 30 Day Shred in addition to 15 minutes of Zumba. I gotta get in a 2 hour workout today before I step out.
It is one of those days when you feel like glamming up. I am thinking I'll pick a fancy top with black tights, and a blazer. I am gonna pair it up with my high heels, some big studs, chunky ring, and subtle makeup with a bright lip. Yup, it's that kinda day.
