'Our' house

Tonight was our first dinner at Nish's house. It is also the last dinner for my grandma because she leaves for India next week. She had never been to his house and he thought he'd try his best to pull everything together before she leaves. We still have a lot of stuff left. We've only covered the dining/living area and the bedrooms  still remain untouched. But just the living room area took us over a month.

All the new additions were the couch, a TV stand, and a dining table. And all the home decor included paintings, place mats for the dining table, candle stands, cutlery, a vase, other decorate pieces for the living room, cushions, and a rug.

Nish put so much hard work and effort into getting this dinner together. We both had a really busy day today. And I am just so glad that it all worked out well. As soon as we entered the place, my parents were amazed at the how the condo had transformed. The last time they saw it was when it was newly purchased. His hospitality was amazing and every one just had a great time. The men also went to go play pool while I stayed behind and did the dishes (I know.. something nice for once!)

It was a special night for me and my family because it was our first formal dinner at his place after the relationship dynamics had changed. I am soooo tired and I know I am gonna pass out any minute. Before passing out, I just wanted to take the time to make this post and thank God for everything. Tonight was truly beautiful. I hope there are many more to come.
