Beauty: Products I swear by!

This was one amazing product that I held on to this summer. I am sure you figured that out by looking at SPF 70. I wish I had this in Montreal when I got sunburnt and became crazy tan. Nevertheless, I started using this last month and it's amazing. I use it under my foundation. It never cakes up on me. And it definitely delivered what it promised. I wore this to Wonderland in the scorching heat and I was not sunburnt.

I have got to admit, I never thought Gel Liners could ever top Liquid Liners. I was in love with my Liquid Liners from many many years! But I wanted to try Gel Liners at least once. So, I tried this from Shoppers Drug Mart. I LOVE this thing. It's amazing. It's waterproof, and the consistency is just awesome. You know that scene in a Bollywood movie, where an actress is in a sexy bikini, swimming in a pool or by the lake, with water dripping down her face. You don't see anything smudged and she looks just perfect? Well, when Nish and I went into that pool at Wonderland, I gave him clear instructions - not to push my face in the water or even splash water on my face because I was scared I would look like a raccoon. Let me tell you - I had my fun by dipping in the water multiple times and splashing each other. 'Nothing' happened. The liner was as it is when I came out. I went to the washroom to look at how much damage was done to my eyes and NOTHING. It stayed on exactly how it was prior to going in the water. I cannot present any more evidence to make this a HIT product. I absolutely love it.

These are L'Oreal Colour Infallibles. Okay, these are sort of dusty eyeshadows in a pressed powder form. I bought three of these - I can't remember the names. But two of them are in the beige/brown family, and a purple one. Any party that I go to - these are my go-to shadows. I don't need more glamour on my eyelids when I got these on. They are perfect for a shimmery glamorous look. I even use some of it and smear it over my cheeks after applying my blush to give it that shiny/bronzy look. It looks fabulous. These are the only drug store shadows that are worth investing in (for me). I love their texture and consistency, and the colour pay off is worth the money. They are about $8.00

Oh! No words for this. My dad got me my first Marc Jacobs product over the last weekend - LOLA. This beats every fragrance that I ever loved in my life - including Dior's Hypnotic Poison and Mariah Carey's Forever. Screw the fragrance - look at that sexy bottle. Having it on my dresser just makes me happy, lol. It has a beautiful musky kick but it's not an everyday perfume. I am gonna wear it occasionally and savour every drop.

Do any of you have acne? Try out this product! It's not actually specifically for acne purposes. It works like an everyday skin care routine - cleansing etc. But this does curb your pimples for sure. I heard a lot about this product and decided to try it out from Bramalea this weekend! I've gotta say, I got more pimples than ever this year than I ever did even through puberty. It's probably due to extreme changes in my body. Losing 33 lbs definitely affects your body in good and bad ways. But I'd suggest, this little bottle is expensive and it's recommended for SPOT treatment, not for smearing over your entire face.

You will find Burt's Bees products practically in every Wal-Mart and Shoppers Drug Mart everywhere. I was always reluctant to try these because all the products are so pricy. Some of them include a skin cleanser for $27.00. That's not the kind of cleanser I want to use. But my mother actually happened to bring this from England. It was about 18 pounds there too, so not a difference. But OH-MY-GOD. It's well worth the price. I wash my face before going to bed every night with this amazing cleanser. It takes off every speck of makeup off my face. Tip: remove your eye makeup before you use this product because getting this in or around your eyes can cause a burning sensation and redness. It's ideal for taking makeup off your skin, not your eyes. It does make your face a little dry though. Soon after washing my face this product, I use Vaseline and moisturise my face.

That's all for my Summer 2012 favorite products. I've gotta get to bed :) I've got an early start tomorrow. If everything goes well, I shall talk about it in the next post. Good luck to everyone going back to school or for those hunting for work. I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!
