Hi. Quick blog (in-between classes) and really felt like putting my favs out there! It's a combination of clothes, jewellery, shoes, makeup and other things!
I am loving these! I thought they were too delicate and actually went to return them with the fear of breaking them in my daily wear. The lady at the counter was wearing the same ones and with her marketing and retail experience, she convinced me that they are a daily wear item, and not easily breakable. And since then, I never looked back, lol. Absolutely love how these look!
I got Zebra print tights from Urban Planet. And two pairs of Cheetah prints. I don't care what people think, I like animal print. And I wear it without precaution. I've been pairing it up with all sorts of things, black net tops, plain white, or a white tank with a grey cardigan! Looks amazing! I tried it with a hot pink over the weekend and wore matching footwear. It looked amazing!
I love H & M jewellery. In case, if you are wondering... a lot of my rings and necklaces come from H & M. I am currently wearing the white vintage ring on the right, as I type. And I love how it goes with everything.
Have a look at those pearl bracelets.Sorry, I really liked the picture although the bracelets aren't as clear. I am pairing my pearls with all sorts of bracelets and trying out mix and match. It really works! In fact, with this vintage ring that I am wearing.. I am matching it with my pearls with a few black bangles to match with my black top. And lucky me, I didn't even get wet in the rain to ruin my outfit, lol.
I tried the Lo'Real hair mask last week and really didn't like it. It didn't leave my hair as smooth as a hair mask should. I went to Wal-Mart and saw a display of BedHead products. Now, most of their products are quite expensive, that's why I don't have a lot of them. But I invested in this hair mask and I gotta say I love it! :) I am gonna savour it until I can and use it wisely.
With the rain and the current weather, I am really feeling scarves, fall jackets and nice off-the-shoulder tops/sweaters. In fact, most of this post is dedicated to what I am wearing today. I am wearing an off-the-shoulder top from Suzy Shier with a cheetah print scarf (next picture) and black tights, with brown sandals (to match with the scarf).
No words needed. Everyone should own a piece of this. Mine is slightly lighter than this, but I liked this picture. And I am wearing it differently.
I do not invest in high end makeup on a regular basis. In fact, most of the makeup I use is drug store makeup (high five college/university students!) But, I found this product worth investing in. This is a Lancome blush, "Mauve Coquette." I wore it for my grad photo as well. I love how this doesn't sit on the surface of my skin. It just mixes so well with your skin and warms up the face. An absolute fav! I haven't touched other blushes since I got this one. But my mom took it to England, so I have to use another (next picture).
Now, this is on the affordable end. And slightly shinier than the Lancome. This really has to be used with a light hand, or else it can be a little too much. It's from the Golden Affair Blush collection, in Rose Rapture. Gorgeous blush! It's my go-to evening makeup blush!
Okay, funny story. I am at university and I just finished lecture an hour ago. We were put into our usual discussion groups (eight people) and I see them every week. This really pretty Asian girl is always dressed really nicely. She is not the usual, ideal feminine girl. She has a bold bob haircut, and dresses like a sexy geek! Geeks are the new sexy, I tell ya! She wore this really pretty lip color today with a black sweater, shorts, and big geek glasses. In the middle of the discussion, I said.. "Sorry, I can't respond to what you're saying because I am distracted by your freakin' awesome lipstick color! Care to share?" She quite happily responded and pulled out the lip pencil from her purse for me to have a look at. Guess who is going to Sephora today? ;)
Anyway, this is a lip pencil by NARS in damned. And I am going to be a psychic and predict that this is going to be my most worn color all throughout fall.
This was actually a lovely birthday present. And who doesn't like Vera Wang? No words needed. Beautiful fragrance, with not only a beautiful bottle but the fragrance itself. And very feminine in smell. Just to my liking :)
Now, this is a product that I had to wait to get my hands on. Bramalea City Centre - Designer Cosmetics, run and get it now! There are better blotting papers out there. But for five bucks, you can't beat this. I personally own a lot of NYX products and usually buy anything new that I spot! This was my best friend this summer. Wearing SPF, sunscreens, and other lotions to moisturise your skin in the summer can be painful as your makeup can run down your face within a few hours. This helps absorb oil and take that oiliness away from the face. Definitely a good touch-up product! And 50 sheets for five bucks!
Last, but not the least.. feather earrings! I've been rocking them with my short hair now. And frankly, I don't have a choice, lol. I kinda don't like my hair as much as I did when I got the cut. I actually don't even wanna leave the house with my hair un-straightened. I realized how high maintenance this hair style is, and I don't have the time to do my hair. But, this could be a good thing because I did nothing to style my long hair. I left it frizzy, wavy and however it was when I came out of the shower. I seldom straightened it. This will allow me to actually take care of my hair, for once.
My outfit and accessories for the day! Off the shoulder top, cheetah scarf, H&M ring, pearl bracelets :)
And this is it for all the products that I could think of today! Lovely weather outside.. have a beautiful day everyone :)
You should start doing fotd's and ootd's, i always love how you do your makeup! If you cant do it with videos then you should totally do it with step by step pictures or something.
ReplyDeleteThe vids are a problem. My parents found one many years ago through a relative on YouTube, LOL. And the camera just isn't working for me.
ReplyDeleteI can do it step by step with pictures. That shouldn't be a problem at all. And thank you!
I will attempt OOTDs like I tried by chopping my neck off there.
