Remember, how I wrote that blog about embarrassing things that happened to me? Let's void that blog, because I got one that is by far the BEST (for you) and the WORST (for me) embarrassing situation EV-AR.
I used to see this in movies, and stand-up comedies. I became a comedy myself. As I sit here, in my living room, trying to tell my story... my mom is hysterically laughing looking at me. My naani is laughing because my mom is laughing. And my brother is probably tweeting what just happened.
That's right. My brother is home for the weekend. And as my mother and I were going to pick him up from the GO Station, this story was told by my mother. He literally straddled lanes. I am not even kidding.
My mom dropped me to Humber College to get some printing done, while she shopped at Woodbine. At 12:45 p.m., we were supposed to get my brother from the GO Station. My mother gave me a call around 12:30 p.m. to come outside the building. So, I exit the building.. looking really good (in my own head).
As soon as I exit the main doors, I whip out my sunglasses literally in Rajnikaant style, thinking how awesome I look in my Turquoise pants and black ruffle top with the most perfectly done eye-liner. You know, those days when your make up effort-lessly looks good? Yup, and I continue to walk like I own this college right here. No one's gonna look as good as meeee today. I see a group of guys and girls, staring at me from far away. As I come closer, I see smirks and stares. I thought to myself, wow.. I must REALLY look good today. All this happened over a period of 2 minutes. I see my mom pull up in the car, and as soon as I sit inside the car.. I felt something weird that I could not feel outside in the sun.
So, what do I notice? I am a FUCKING dweeb. I was wearing half-broken glasses! And I did not seem to notice it. Wow. I have NO words to explain how I felt. My mom laughed for the next 15 minutes until we got to the GO Station. These are her exact words, for those who understand Punjabi.. "Tu samajhdi honi ki ajj main Katrina Kaif lag rahi aa, taan hi mainu log dekh rahe hain." - =( Stop it mom! She's STILL laughing. And go ahead, I took a picture just to let you know I looked, so you guys can laugh too.
I will remember this day, I swear. For YEARS to come.
