Hello bloggers. This blog is sort of like a part two to something I wrote about earlier. Check this blog:-
Relationship Revenge?
I met Annam last week and we got to discussing a few meaningful things. Why is it that exes have to be so damn spiteful? Especially men. What's with your inability to take things in a mature way? If a girl doesn't wanna be with you anymore, you must have done something to make her come to that conclusion. Even if you haven't, it's her own decision. What I particularly do not understand is why guys call for a break-up themselves or dump the girl, and then go bitch about her?
If I were to talk about the douchebag I went out with two years ago, I could say a lot - but I chose not to. What does it say about your own character? If you are going out and bad-mouthing your own girl, you are a dick, not a man. For real. How can you disrespect someone who meant the world to you at one point in life?
The true colours of people come out when relationships END, not when they are in effect. The test is to see how much you can respect the person even when they are not with you. Anyone can be all fun and games in relationships. If you cannot deal with conflict, and your way of dealing with it is talking smack.. you have serious issues. Why can't you just wish well for everyone? If it didn't work out - it simply didn't. How does it make you feel better about yourself in any way by talking shit about your significant other?
There is no point in becoming bitter and resentful. Especially not after things have ended. Some cheap-ass guys have an agenda of going around and insulting the girl's character - a typical brown guy thing. You guys lack some serious morals. Imagine someone going into the dynamics of your sister's body. If you have the guts to listen to that shit coming from another guy, then sure go ahead and run your mouth..

If you dont mind me asking, what did the ex do?
ReplyDeleteYou refer to it as horrible in many blogs, that's why Im wondering.
If its too personal, its cool. No worries.
Well.. for one, he had a "back-up" girl before he broke up with me.
ReplyDeleteTwo, he used me for the stupidest reasons in the world - a lot to do with academics (his weakness)
Three, he suggested he wants to break up and then went and talked smack about me to the whole world.
Four, none of it was true.
Five, the back-up girl.. he made was from UTM. Just so he can rub it in my face.
ReplyDeleteEverytime the girl passes by me at UTM, she giggles or gives me an evil smile, as if she won a trophy. Like hello bitch, you got my sloppy seconds? Shouldn't I be the one smirking at ya?
I am just too kind. I should have confronted him AND her a long time ago. I just give everyone the silent treatment and upset myself. But in the end, it's nothing to be upset over. Because I clearly had nothing to lose *rolls eyes*
I can give you an exhaustive list you know.. but then again, I still don't feel like talking crap about people.
ReplyDeleteOh and for the main reason, cheated on me.. TWICE (of course, I did not find out until the end)
Well, thats a rather nasty thing to do to some one.
ReplyDeleteBut hey, on the brighter side, you're an intelligent girl, so in retrospect you should ask yourself how you put up with such a child in the first place? Kudos to you, not a lot of us would have the patience to do that.
But Aditi, it really baffles people when you're just simply nice to them. You didnt have to confront them. You should have simply smiled at the girl, and asked her a simple question:
You seem (emphasis on the seem, because if she really was a smart girl, she wouldnt be dating a guy with a track record like that. Every adjective used to describe his supposed crazy bitch of an ex will turn into those used for the current gf in the future) like a smart girl, why are you downgrading yourself? Take it from me, I took an upgrade. You gotta throw out the old software when you upgrade, right?
But on the other hand, you just gota let the delusional folks just live in their delusional world :)
ReplyDeleteIt's been a year and a half, and they are still together. I am just gonna wait for the day she too is trashed like me, after he's done using her. Because these guys truly have no morals. He is using her for various reasons (I can't list them here) but I know of them because I have a lot of mutual friends with the girl (surprisingly).
ReplyDeleteMoreover, when she passes by me - I pretend as if I did not even see her. I pretend as if him, his story, and her do not exist in my life.
And about being spiteful, I have a hundred reasons to hate him. He was too shallow of a person. After the break up, the tend to say things that are just plain hateful.
i.e. "You are fat, and you need to lose weight. You have an inferiority complex because I am better looking than you."
Like hello, in what world? And add more to the irony, she is overweight too! :D Guess, she already has an example of the kinds of things she'll get to hear about her in the near future.
Yup :)
ReplyDeleteThats the best policy.
Indifference!
Just live your life, well you already are so thats good.
And lol thats ironic that his girlfriend is overweight.
Seems as if HE's the one with an inferiority complex, dating girls who he deems overweight, simply because his "better looking" self couldn't get a "better looking" girl.
But wow! Why would you put up with stuff like that!?
He sounds like a human cocktail of douchebag, idiot, low self-esteem, dumb, and last but not least delusional. But who cares, you need to associate with idiots to learn how to deal with them sometimes.
