Diwali Dhamaka

Hello fellow bloggers.
I had the best night ever yesterday. UTM had a Diwali event @ the Blind Duck hosted by HSC (Hindu Student Council). It was awesome! I went with my good friends and had a great night out. I reached around 7:45 p.m., although my girlies were late but it was worth the wait. A group performed Pakistani rock, and I loved it!
They sung some of my fav tunes:- Garaj Baras, Lambi Judaai and Dil Se. My friend Raj went crazy too!

After the performances, we ran for the food to avoid a line-up of 500 people (haha Raj!) And then we had a really intense conversation about love, spirituality, karma, and God. Not exactly what I wanna talk about while eating my favorite food, but I definitely learnt something out of it. I learnt that one has to actually be in another person's shoes to understand their situation. Over-generalization should be a sin.

About the people, they were awesome. I met new people and re-united with old ones. It was Zoro's first event for photography - I am hoping the pictures turn out great, whenever he decides to put them up. Another friend of mine, Abhi was the MC and I think he did a great job too.

Okay, the fun stuff. The open dance floor. Munni bechari, I feel so sorry for her. She was too badnam yesterday. It is hard to explain how much FUN I had, dancing like a maniac. Shruti, Rajbir and I went crazy on the dance floor. We got up on the stage and danced with the DJ too. It was tooooo much fun. I have never danced this much before. My feet went ballistic. After the party was over, we roamed the hallways of UTM still singing Munni Badnaam! It was dead quiet and we were three chics doing awara-gardi.

We had an intense photo-session, being crazy and stupid and what not. After that, Shruti drove us while we played Munni again in the car (I swear Munni was on replay throughout the entire night). We sang songs on the way home. So, we were on the highway around 2 a.m. and we ran outta gas. Are you f*cking serious?
Three beautiful girls :p late night? In the middle of the highway? That's insane. I started reading Hanuman Chalisa in my head, I swear! Thank God, we took the nearest exit out and found a gas station. Then, being the crazy chics we are, we went to Tim Hortons to grab Iced Caps with whipped cream on top. Really, now? Haha. Nikki was dropped home first, and then Shruti drove me home after that. We hugged each other goodbye and went home with the feeling, "Tonight was a good goooood niiight."

And then, how could I have gone to sleep without Facebooking the pictures? Like how is that even possible? So, I got home around 3 a.m. and Facebooked until 5 a.m. I went to sleep around 5:30 and missed my class this morning! So, that was the end of an a-m-a-z-i-n-g night! =) HSC Zindabad!
