5 things that inspire me

1. Great Music
Great songs move people. You know when each word of the lyrics has a deeper meaning for you? When you can relate to the pain, sadness or happiness in a song? Music has helped me get through horrible times. It has been my best friend and always will be. The creativity and talent some people have amazes me as they produce great music. If a particular song gives you goosebumps, I think that music has made its mark rather beautifully in this world.

2. Great Love
Having a great lover doesn't mean great love. Great love could be a thing of a past like a distinct memory. It could mean the love you never got to have. It could mean friends that have always loved you. Love is what touches the soul. If your souls haven't touched, you haven't loved. And that great love is not experienced by many. In any and all contexts, love is an amazing feeling. The magic it has always seems to blow my mind.

3. Great Writing
A good book is like a good friend. Great writing makes me want to write and appreciate other people's writing. Writing is a gift that only some people are blessed with. I am not one of them but I aspire to be. Writing is an art in itself. The word play is appalling in great books. Orgasmic.

4. Family
My family is my backbone. Their love and support and utter hard work can never go unappreciated. The amount of hard work my mom and dad have put into giving us luxury is never taken for granted. My dad is my hero. And my mom is superwoman. They both work endless hours and still manage to be all-rounders in their life. Their upbringing, shelter, education and nurturing has made me who I am today and I am so lucky to have them.

5. Differences
I am always surrounded with people. Some leave and some are here to stay. And some I walk out on. Nevertheless, I always have people to rely on. For some reason, I make better friends with guys than I do with women. But even then, there are at least 5 inspirational women in my life that I always thank. I can't name you because I am thinking you would already know by now. There are a lot of awesome things about people. And one of them is the fact that we are all different. I respect differences. I think they are a great thing because we can always teach and learn from the other person. I have a couple of positive influences in my life that are omnipresent even when they aren't physically present in my life. You are always in my memory and always will be. I will always respect you with all my heart.
