My life in words, many words.

Kind words live longer.

Hey everyone!

I hope everyone is doing great. I am doing a little better than before. I have been on an emotional roller coaster lately and living under hibernation. That is my most common reaction to any problem - running away. I am definitely an escapist. That is one thing I have realized over the years. I'd just rather not deal with things sometimes. But putting all this aside, I am happy about many things.

One, for messages like these (in the picture). So blessed to have fellow friends and readers who motivate me. Two, I had a fantastic time at the Honour's Ceremony at Humber yesterday. There were only 2 Indian people in my entire program who received Honours and I was one of them! =)

Thirdly, my parents' 25th Wedding Anniversary is coming up. So, I am just preparing for that. We were supposed to go for an extended vacation but we're not going anymore. Why is that, you ask? Well well... this brings me to the 4th news. I finally joined Beauty School! I am ECSTATIC. My classes start right the next day after mom and dad's anniversary so we decided to go to Niagara for the weekend and stay in a Fallsview room. It's gonna be a fun weekend with my naani maa, parents, brother and fiancee. I love the joy of everyone coming together to celebrate. And their anniversary is surely an occasion for a grand celebration because my parents are the cutest.

Over the last few days, I have been acting as the secret agent. This is when my mom takes me shopping for dad. I get to give ideas, suggest stores, drive her there, choose a present and come back. Then, my dad takes me shopping for mom. This is when he doesn't do anything and I pick stuff lol. But he has a good eye for jewelry. And what better occasion to buy diamonds than your 25th? I woke up at 8:30 this morning to go with him and we were 'pretending' to go to the gym. The funny thing is... they both know that I am the secret agent, lol. Then, they both sneakily try to find out what the other one is getting. And then my job is to lie and create even more confusion, haha.

Anyway... those are all the things keeping me happy and busy at the moment. Today, I have an appointment to pay my tuition fees for the Makeup Artistry course. The fun part - my mom and I both get a complementary facial and discounts on mani and pedi. So, mummy and daughter are definitely gonna enjoy some pampering together. Then, we're off to buy her a dress for the special day. It's gonna be a good day =)
