Birthday week & more reasons..

Hey everyone.
So, it's officially my birthday week. YAY! I wanted to blog starting Monday, October 1st but I was honestly really tired to even log onto Blogger. I worked overtime yesterday and I also had to go to UTM to return a book. It took up all my time. However, I've captured all my memories in my brain for today lol. I have a story for "each" day of the birthday week. It was initially going to be Birthday Week: Day 1and Day 2, and so on for every day, but I just got lazy. So, I am going to summarize the last three days and continue with my reasons...

Birthday Week: Day 1

It started with work. But it didn't go downhill from there. I had an average day at work. I received my first worksheet, which quotes how many cases I am supposed to complete by the end of the week. Looking at the number of cases was just dreadful. My quota is 10, but I can barely send out like 7 files because it's a highly pressurized work environment with lots of multi-tasking. Anyway.. after work, I met up with Nish. We had planned on meeting each other every day of this week until my birthday. So far, so good! He was waiting for me in the parking lot. We were supposed to watch 'Barfi.' I was checking movie times the night before (on Sunday) and may have confused some timings with the wrong theatre. We ended up at Albion Mall and the only thing playing was a Punjabi movie. Believe me, I am ashamed to even say the name - 'Pinky Moge Wali.' I don't know what the hell I was thinking when I walked into the theatre. We watched it for 35 minutes.. well, we SAT there for 35 minutes, but probably only watched 15 minutes or so. It did not make any sense. We left the theatre before the interval and just went to the park/garden of his building to spend some time together. I received the first 'bit' of my birthday goodies, lol. I got to see my first birthday card. And the funniest thing is - I chose the same card for his birthday, but left it at the counter because I found another one. However, it was my first choice and he had no idea. This is CRAZY! In the entire Hallmark store, we find the same birthday card for each other? Strange! Anyway, all in all, we saved the day by not sitting in for the movie and spending our precious time together.

Birthday Week: Day 2

Yesterday, I was supposed to get off work at 6:00 pm but I had to work more than an hour of overtime. I am not entirely sad about earning the extra money, but I had this horrible headache all day yesterday. I really wanted to just leave work and go out to eat .We met up really late yesterday, and he drove me all the way to UTM to return a book. We were supposed to go to Square One from there for shopping. But that didn't happen because I was just too tired, and the headache was annoying me even more. Before going to UTM, we went to a restaurant and spent some time there. We ordered our favorite food and had a mini-date (of about 20 minutes) before we left for UTM. He had to drop me home right away because it was already 9:00 pm by the time we got back to Brampton. And then, I received the second 'bit' of my birthday goodies. Every one knows my obsession for chunky rings. I've mentioned it in many beauty blogs before, and it's quite evident on Facebook. I also said that I buy most of my rings from H & M. I don't know how he remembers these little things. They make me more happy than anything! I got two gift cards from H & M from him =) Definitely gotta hunt for a chunky ring for my birthday. The saddest thing is, I am working till Friday evening and I have no time to go shopping until the day OF. I wanted to get my nails done, and I don't know when that's gonna happen either. Anyway, we'll see how it goes.

Birthday Week: Day 3

Today, we were supposed to meet after work. But, he finished work early so I thought we can meet up at lunch time. I am allowed to go out for lunch, so that was okay. I took my work friend with me; we've done a lunch before and it's quite nice! Today was a very hectic work day for the both of us, so we went out for a little treat at Chat Hut - Golgappe, Chaat Paapdi, Kesar Badam, Faluda, & Jalebis. Everything was eaten before we got back to work - yes, we're pigs. I find that when you have only 20-30 minutes to meet each other, you make the most of it, haha =) He dropped us back to work and we went back to our files after an amazing lunch.

Birthday Week: Day 4 is going to be tomorrow. I am planning a little birthday celebration, however I haven't sent out many invites yet because I am still quite uncertain. We are checking out a venue together tomorrow evening to see if it's gonna be suitable for the party. And I will  get back to you on the rest of the two days later on in the week.

There are so many birthdays this month! *Proud Libra moment*

36. Because I am a Libra, and he is a Cancerian and this relationship is the toughest thing to handle. Try running our compatibility test anywhere and you will find out that this relationship will always be full of fights, but at the same time, immense and inseparable love for each other as well. And that's why we're always going to be together.

35. Because he clicks random pictures of me, without my knowledge. I swear to God, I get a huge slap on my hand if I even reach for his phone. He has God knows how many pictures of me till now that I still have not seen till date. I really want to though, its my birthday? *cough cough*

34. Because I know how hard he is working (secretly and mischievously  to plan everything for my birthday, even though he won't admit.

33. Because he's just too darn cute sometimes! Last night, when we were talking in the car on our way home. He said, "Babe.. don't expect a surprise package this year. I think your blog readers and friends have too many expectations from me because you've made me into this character. But I would just like to say, that even an extremely romantic man can also run out of ideas sometimes, okay?" LOLLLL.
This cracked me up the hardest! You can never run out of ideas =) haha, I know you sneaky little person.

32. Because he loves my friends and treats them like his own.

31. Because his real talent is caring for people.

30. Because of this reply (the one in the picture) to this so-called Anonymous jealous freak. LOL. I love you. The best comeback ever, hahaa!

29. Because he will stand up for his friends, and almost anybody if there is a crisis. He's the best friend EVER. The one you can count on 3 in the morning, or financially, as well as emotionally.

28. Because he doesn't feel awkward when he sometimes says, "Can you scratch my back?" LOL. That's as real as it gets, my friend. *Awkward moment*

27. Because he makes silly faces on FaceTime and makes me crack up in the middle of the night.

26. Because no matter what happens, he will never give up on me.

25. Because, (look at the picture at the left) he texted me this when he read my 99 reasons blog! It's never too much praise for him.

24. Because he accepts me with all my flaws. And trust me, I have many.

23. Because we can never get enough of each other. We can do the same boring things over and over again, be bored, and still not leave.

22. Because he is probably reading right now, with a BIGASS COLGATE SMILE on his face, lol.

21. Because I got my first pay-cheque and I was able to share that moment with him. He congratulated me, encouraged me to do better, and gave me that rare happy smile that I barely get to see =) It was almost as if, he got his first cheque. I could not tell who was happier.


I am going to stop at 21 because this is the last time I can call myself 21. In the next 48 hours,  I will be TWENTYTWO!
