Shopping?

So.. where did you guys shop this year? I take shopping to be a very secretive activity. I know girls usually gush over going in their friend circles and shop forever. I like going ALONE. I shop the best when I do so. There are plenty of reasons why. I hate giving/asking for opinions on what you or someone else is wearing. This is the reason I don't go with my mom, although she loves taking me. Second, I don't have the patience to stand around with others and wait for them while I could be shopping on my own. I am the quickest shopper ever. This is what I do.. As opposed to grabbing something and staring at it while you wanna decide if you wanna get it or not, I pick up whatever I like at the store in one look. Next, I always go to the change room to try things on. IF I like how it looks on me, I will get it. And I will leave the rest of the items there, and I go directly to the check-out counter. I don't think about it 20 times more after trying it on, and liking it. Either you want it, or you don't. I don't know why girls take crazy hours deciding if they want something or not. Anywhoooo..

This year.. I did not shop at all. In fact,  I shopped for Boxing Day for barely three hours and left. My major shopping was of Electronics. I bought a Laptop, a Camera and a bunch of new memory sticks. I don't know if I would be able to get an iPhone or not yet. And just a bunch of clothes, nothing special, honestly. I didn't even feel like shopping this year due to the whole weight thing. I would like to put a hold on shopping until that goal is achieved.

My first shopping trip was at Dixie Outlet Mall (It's the second time I went there, and I didn't like anything, but anywhere I find Urban Planet, I usually end up getting something).
So, for the party I had that very day (the Suite 811 party on 18th December), I planned to get a complete set of outfit that day.
I got a striped colourful sweater (that I don't have a picture of), a Black Fringe top, and a Club Cami, my first pair of Lace tights and a leopard print cardi.

I also got a pair of shoes, which was such a bargain. I believe the pair was $50 bucks and I got it 50% off because of Boxing Day.
They looked somewhat like this, but not exactly the same. I have more leather strips but they are not criss-crossed at the top and bottom.

 

And on December 23rd, Nish and I went to Urban Behaviour and got three casual tops. Two of them are the same thing, but different colours (White and Black - just because I loved it so much) and the third is red. Unfortunately, I don't have the exact pictures. But here are the closest I can find.

And two more tops from Urban Behaviour on Boxing Day, one is a loose sort of Lounge wear front buttoned top in Grey and the other is a little party net top in Turqouise. I can't find pictures of those.

From Bluenotes, I needed cheap gym tees, I got 4 of them plus a hoodie. 

Back to Urban Planet, I purchased two more long sleeved tops, and a few tank tops. I still have to go buy more athletic wear for gym from Urban Planet, which I believe is $10 all of this week. They have some fun colours too. 

Then, from Suzy Shier.. I picked out a bunch of things I liked but later found out that they had a sale only on their fall merchandise. So, none of the winter items were on sale. Hence, I walked out with one top :(

Then, from Sirens.. I bought three casual tops, two in Black and one in Navy Blue. And those of you who know me KNOW how much I love black. And that I usually don't buy other colours. But those red and blue form style tops above, I bought them for Nish because he always tells me to wear colours, lol.

Other than this, I still need to buy a Winter Coat. There was a sale at Victoria's Secret. Victoria's Secret Fantasies for their Bath and Beauty Products. I bought two body mists, two hand moisturizers, and body splashes.

From the Body Shop, I purchased their Extra Virgin Mineral Foundation (which I LOVE by the way). I got it in Golden Ivory (even though it is not my skin colour, I mix it with Fit me as I mentioned in my earlier blog). Since, I already have their All-in-One Face Base (which I have from three years now, and still not out of it - awesome product), I got their pressed face powder to try out as well in Shade 01.

And since everyone raves about NYX Lipsticks, I went and got three! I usually use Rimmel Lipsticks and never branch out to other brands. Revlon Lipsticks are good as well. I had one NYX Lipstick that I used for two weeks and lost it somewhere. It was in the colour Heather.

I purchased three popular colours from Designer Cosmetics at Bramalea. I wish I had gone with some research because there are so many other colours I would like to get. So, I went without any knowledge about the brand and ended up choosing the most popular lipsticks (I had to, they were just gorgeous!)

On the left is the picture of Georgia (I love it), and in the center is the picture of my favorite makeup Guru (Marlena) wearing Fig. And I needed another Red Lipstick because the one I have from Rimmel is blue under-tone. I am not sure what this one is called, but I believe it's called True Red.
