I derived motivation to write this blog from a dear friend, Amar :)
He said, I quote, "the romantic side of your blog is so beautiful." A person in love would be a better judge of that and since he is deep into it, he gets it. I told him I stopped writing things after that ONE blog where a lot of people got together and came up with nonsense criticisms. But I guess, I shouldn't stop. I don't write to please anyone. I am not afraid of nonsense comments. In fact, throw them at me. I'll gladly give you a deathly comeback in every which way I can. A bit far-fetched? Well, yeah. Sure.
I do feel like Rachel right now. He's so pretty, I want to cry. Not only is he pretty on the outside, but the inside as well. I have been feeling so blessed lately. We've had our share of arguments and disagreements in a short span, but despite everything - in the end, it's always peace, love and harmony. Things that the entire world wants? And if you're getting all that in one set of arms, why not?! :)
Just by receiving wishes and good luck from people made my night. And I would like to share an instance which sounds uber cute, well.. at least in my head. I remember being on my period last month. I mean of course, everyone remembers this, geez! I remember talking about the movie, "No Strings Attached" in which Ashton Kutcher makes soup for his girlfriend when she is major PMSing, to make her feel better.
And this mister said to me, "I can't make you soup, but I can take you out for your favorite Chaat Paapdi." I mean, really? The whole world knows how much I love Chaaaat! LOVE is an understatement. We went to a nearby restaurant, and found a seat in the corner. There were a rowdy group of brown guys in the restaurant and us, no one else. He goes, "could you please sit here?" By 'here' he meant, not facing that group. And since it was a corner seat, I would face him.
As the Chaat arrives and I start eating it like a fat kid with the love for food, he asks, "What are other things that make you feel better?" I look up with a cute baby face and say, "Umm.. hugs?" As I was watching him, he pulled out his iPhone, tapped the "Notes" button, and wrote.. "Give her hugs more often" under the heading PMS checklist. And also adds, "Chaat Paapdi." LOL! That moment still brings a smile to my face :)
P.S. If you'd like to read more mushy stories, let me know, bwahaha :)
