I deserve an award - worst directions ever?

Hello people. I hope you guys are having a good weekend.
It was around the same routine for me. I got up around 8:00 am and I had class at Humber at 9:30 am. I don't understand how you can even HAVE an attention span at this time of the weekend, in CLASS. I really have to try hard. I must say I love colleges for having such a practical approach to things. I probably learnt so much at Humber in 2 semesters, more than I have in my four year degree at UTM. It's not just accumulating theory and doing a gazillion research papers. It's actually developing SKILLS that you signed up for. My tuition money is definitely worth it at this college for learning how to use legal softwares, how to develop the skills you need in a law office, what lawyers are looking for in you as an employee and much more. I love this class - because it's challenging. You have to work hard to get all these complicated case studies. This week we are learning how to write case comments/briefs after reading cases that are 30 pages each and looking up the precedents associated with each case. We get to use softwares such as LexisNexis and QuickLaw for FREE through the Humber website that some law firms cannot even afford, because they're so expensive.

Sooo I totally went off track here. I just looked up at the title of the blog and realized it is supposed to be about something else, lol. I spent my day with Apra today! Thank you so much for coming all the way from Scarborough and spending your day with me. We had a lot of confessions and chat sessions about many things. I got to vent because I had a lot building up inside me lately. We went to Woodbine for lunch and then we were supposed to go to a lake. I suggested Professor's Lake? Umm.. note to self - do NOT suggest locations when you suck at directions. It took us only about an hour and a half to find that lake, lol. I am a genius, seriously.. Please guys, never EVER rely on me for directions. I admit it okay - I suck. But it was actually worth it. It was beautiful out there. It was a bright sunny day yet a little breezy. We sat on the rocks and dipped our feet in the water. Loved it.

Apart from the location hunting - talking to Apra is fun for many reasons. One, I believe she has an open view towards life which is less biased and judgmental than other people I meet. I am able to express myself freely the way I want. I am able to trust her with issues that I share with her. I am able to get some intelligent and positive feedback from her, instead of useless consolations. If I am wrong, I am told that I am wrong. And I like that about her. Being a friend doesn't mean you have to comfort the person 24/7 and say things to them that they would like to hear to make them feel better. It means you tell them exactly where they stand in life and not lie to them. That's how it ACTUALLY should be. I like her upfront, bold, and beautiful nature :) I am glad we are back in touch after all these years and I am sure we are gonna have a good time  in the future. Thanks for coming down and making my day.. I really needed it =)

Also, we spoke about some serious controversial topics. A few weeks ago, I was writing blogs about Marriage, or the "Love and Venom" and others with an actual value and discussion. Apra and I got to talking about inter-racial dating and inter-religious marriages and racism. These are touchy subjects and I wasn't sure whether I should blog about them before I have people throwing rocks at me. But now I think, I am entitled to speaking my mind and I shall work on those blogs and put them out there. I have always had positive comments and feedback from all the people who comment on my blog - and I think it's worth a mention. Thank you so much for taking your time out and reading about my whiny, unsatisfactory yet interesting life :) Have an awesome weekend you guys!
