Living the Worst Day.

This post is dedicated to the worst day ever. I have actually been through even worst days but still. I feel like every detail of that day was just so frustrating, and I have to get it out of my system. Thanks Blogger.

Tuesday: Nov 30
Things I was supposed to do:
- Complete a 5% online quiz for SOC200 (8:00 a.m.)
- Go to Humber College, for the promotions of Desi DJ Night 2 (10:00 a.m.)
- Print out, hand in essay for POL214 at the Department of Political Science (by 4:45 p.m.)
- Attend lecture, Downtown (6:00-8:00 p.m.)

Here is what ACTUALLY happened:
- I woke up at 11:00 a.m.
- Clearly missed out on the quiz and going to Humber!
- Commute takes up 3 hours! I left my house at 1:23 to catch the first bus.
- Did not have time to eat breakfast
- Forgot wallet at home, I am a genius!

So, when I got off my first bus and asked the driver where I am gonna get the second one because there was some construction problems and the bus stop changed or something. He told me the bus is on detour and got me off on an unknown stop. I waited 45 minutes, and started walking on Humberline towards the Gas Station because I knew the bus would not be coming by there if it did not reach within that time. Guess what? The bus passed by my face at the original stop, where I usually get off. Whatever happened to construction?
And thank you driver for wasting my time! So, 45 minutes of delay in my commute. I got to university around 3:30 p.m. I went to the lab and opened up my essay. I did it on Corel because my Office software expired and it opened up on Word on the computer. It was fucked up in format. The citations were screwed. I fixed it in half an hour and hit print. I did not have print credit. I reached for my wallet to discover it wasn't there. So, I figured if I print double sided, it would be fine. I did not have credit for even that! I had some loose change in my purse and went to update balance on my card. The machine wouldn't work in CCIT lab. FML!
Then, I picked up my stuff and walked to the library. It was already 4:25 p.m. and the essay had to be time stamped in the South Building before 4:45 p.m. So, I opened up the essay again only to realize I did not save the changes I made in the lab because I thought I wouldn't need to, since I would just print it off. I updated my balance and hit print and realized the format was soooo screwed. Seriously? Forget it. I just walked off to South and handed it in. And now I will get like 5 marks taken off just for the format being so gay. I am SO upset about that. I could write a book on "Thousand Instances of Doing Things Last Minute."

Then, I barely had time. My bus was at 4:37 p.m. I walked off to take the shuttle to Downtown. I was sooooo hungry. It was 6:00 p.m. when I reached. I was literally starved. I even forgot my water bottle! I looked for any more change that I must have just thrown in my bag in a hurry. I usually put money in my wallet and not throw it. I came up with $1.25. Just enough for a pack of chips. Wow, FML x 49849?
So I pitied myself and had Ruffles. I went to lecture and I broke the laptop rest thing. I swung it too hard :$ maybe because I was pissed off. Then, I was too embarrassed to sit there so I got up. I had to attend a phone call so I stepped outside. I did not know the prof is doing teacher evaluation things. She comes outside and goes, "Get off the phone and get inside!" Arghhhh! And the quiz? What happened to that? She usually takes it off Portal before the class. THANK GOD, one lucky thing happened at last. She did not take it off. So I came home and did it. Oh, and I jumped on food literally like I haven't eaten in days when I got home around 10:00 p.m. I know it's petty things but it was enough to ruin my day. Plus I hate this course.
I am gonna stop complaining now :(
