I heart rain =)

Good Afternoon!
So, those of you that know me definitely know one thing about me; I NEVER wake up on time, lol.

I know I look like an angry dear
caught in headlights lol, but the purpose
was to show you the rain :p

I don't know why! It doesn't matter whether I set up a phone, clock or laptop alarm, I just never tend to hear them. Even If I do, I hear them and go back to sleep. So my mom has come up with a new technique, apparently. Whenever she leaves for work early in the morning, she keeps the home phone right on my pillow (luckily I haven't poked my eye with it yet). And she calls me from work, it rings SO LOUD it's not even funny. I almost ended up having a mini-heart attack the other day.

She called me around 8:00 am today and I spoke to her in my sleep telling her that I am up and about to get ready. I went back to sleep and woke up at 9:30 am. I missed my first bus, so I took my time getting ready and waited for the next one which was scheduled at 10:45 am. It was raining like crazy outside. Like, wow. I love rain but not when I have books to carry and worrying about not having waterproof mascara and eye-liner.
The bus arrived at 11:00 am, when my bag, my clothes, my hair was SUPER drenched. Somehow, I managed to save my make-up (lol) and got on the bus.

The moment I got on the bus and looked at the time, I realized I would make it to class like 25 minutes late, or probably more because all buses would be running late and slow because of the rain. So, being the dork that I am, I got off at the plaza near my house and walked it home again in the rain! So I was drenched times two. So smart, right?

I came home, changed into my PJs, and snuggled up into my little blankie. I am gonna get up and make green tea and yaaaaay! I get a day off, lol. I am only missing Hindi, so it's okay. I can deal with catching up with that.

Okay, side two of this: mom is mad pissed right now :|
While she called me from work, her co-worker told her if your daughter has nothing to do, tell her to do the dusting and cleaning etc. Umm, no thank you. Can't I just have time to myself and my virtual world, haha!

The weather is just awesome right now. I love it. I wish I could cook something good and watch a chick-flick or something. But I got things to do :(
