Hello!
So I am writing after a little over a month. It was b-u-s-y!
I'll try my best to fill the gap from the past month in a few sentences, lol.
Basically, I had a million assignments, tests, and then final exams. I spent more than half the time studying. And the other half, thinking about how I am gonna study and organize things :( No life, clearly!
So the gig about the weight-loss thing in my previous post, worked for about 2.5 weeks. I was super stressed during the exam days, so I binged like crazy! No use refraining from food for those weeks, since the binging screwed it anyway. That's about the health process. However, I have been regular with the B12 medication. I am going for my 2nd blood test sometime next month, hopefully my cholesterol is in control this time.
Apart from health, I have been on a job hunt from quite a while now. I was stressing about it even while exams were on-going. I went for 2 interviews, got a call from both. One was retarted, so I didn't bother. The other one was a real estate office for a secretarial position at Re/Max. So I had my exam from 8:00-11:00 am yesterday, and I had to be there by 1 pm. Apparently, it was a testing thing whether I can do it or not. They had other girls for the same position, coming in and doing the same thing. Okay, not what I expected. I was expecting more of an administrative role in a peaceful environment. It was literally a "zoo." They had over 7 calls in a minute - at one time. Every 20 seconds, the phone rang. I was there for about 7 hours. It was "insane." But, I went with it because I need it, so yeah. I think I did okay, although slow at grasping the whole concept. I took above 50 calls for sure, probably even more. It was a good experience overall.
Anyhow, the job hunt is on-going, so hopefully I shall be able to work "somewhere" this summer. Apart from that, I am enrolled in 2 summer courses at UTM with Nikita, ofcourse! That is going to be fun, BIG TIME!
One is a crime course, for which I am excited. The other is an elective, for which I am not so excited. PLUS I am taking courses at Humber as well for their Legal Assistant Certification. I am excited for that!
So that's work and education, out of the way. I have a meeting with a personal trainer on Monday, to see how much time it will take me to lose all the extra pounds and to just get on it! I am not so excited to enter the "torture chamber" with a Hitler telling you what to do. Arghhhh! But, no choice :(
And, I just watched the new movie with Vivek Oberoi and Neeru Bajwa, "PRINCE" - stupid movie!
I understand the fact that technology plays a great role in movies these days, but in the movie they introduced a chip the size of a mini ritz cracker, that could "erase" human memory. Uhhh... wtf?
I brought like 10 movies today because I am going to enjoy each and every minute of my 3 week break before I get back to summer school minus two essays I have to edit for a friend :(
Gupta is gone to India - stupid ditcher :( but it's okay, I can live with talking to her online and camming lol. I cannot wait to go next year!! =D
The weather is awesome these days, loving it. I am starting on regular walks and visits to the Mandir and Gurudwara with Sakshi. And cheers to a fun-filled summer in total.
Oh, and just to relate this post to the title, which I totally forgot about lol. TWO YEARS OF UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO - DONNNNEEEE!!! =D with appropriate credits and hopefully a GPA that is now shaping up. Still a long way to go though! So much hard work left to do, arghhh! Just praying "satguru" will bless me with all that I've got on my plate right now :)
P.S. = I lost out on two of my greatest best friends just within the past 6 months! Gone with the wind is right.
